Do not use FedEx.

Seriously.

The last two times I received a package from FedEx, they made me come pick up the delivery.

Yes, I said I picked up my delivery.

This most recent adventure began with a notice left in my mailbox on Wednesday. It said they had tried to deliver my package, and would try again, OR, I could call and make arrangements for delivery. Before I could call the next day, I found yet another slip in my mailbox announcing they had tried to deliver the package, and now it was on ME to pick it up. Also, if I didn't pick it up, it was going to be returned.

WTF?

I called to arrange a delivery time, just after lunch the day after the first notice arrived (which yes was the same day the second notice arrived) and was told it was indeed on me to pick it up, or it would be returned to sender.

Huh? They were going to send back my purchase? After a two-day turnaround? After apparently TWICE trying to deliver a package to a working professional in the MORNING, this company is going to threaten me with the return-to-sender option?

Hey FedEd! FU!

I will never willingly use that company again.
