We have all seen this warning at the bottom of ads on television. You know, when they use professional drivers on a closed course to show you what your vehicle COULD do, if you were to own both a closed course and a profession driver.
Lately however, I have had cause to pause and rewind my DTVR while zipping past the ads as the utter ludicrous warnings I am seeing. Specifically a Subway ad, where you, the apparently brain-damaged viewer is warned not to attempt the stunt in the commercial. The only problem is, the so-called stunts are being performed by ... wait for it ... an animated monkey.
You heard me.
Granted, the monkey appears to be an expert in some form of martial arts, but let's not overlook the fact that it is, indeed, a CARTOON.
I am not certain if this is yet another sign of the apocalypse, but it is certainly playing to the dumbest members of our society. I have not said it lately, but I am saying it now ... people truly are idiots.
