My dreams lately have been unusual, to say the least.
Exhibit #1
I had a dream that Bedbug broke into my apartment while I was voice chatting with a friend in Yahoo IM. I could hear her on the phone with 911 in Pennsylvania while Bedbug and I were fighting. She was trying to remember my last name, and all she could tell them was that I live in the city whose name rhymes with fun.
*smh*
Exhibit #2
The daughter and I were hanging out somewhere, and Bedbug came walking up. Before I could do more than open my cell phone, he walked past my daughter and up to me. He grabbed me around the forehead with one arm, and sliced my neck with a knife with the other hand. I swear to the gods, I felt the pressure of that knife. It was, apparently, too dull to do more than nick my neck in one spot. I clutched my neck, and he came at me again, to stab me. I grabbed the blade and snapped it off the handle. I then stabbed Bedbug, not once, but three or four times.
Exhibit #3
I had a dream about Barack Obama. He was asked about his position on abortion, and he gave SUCH a cool answer. He said, "While my religion, and my personal beliefs are against abortion, I also believe in Free Will. To take away another person's right to choose for themselves is a greater sin than allowing people to make their own choices and accept their own consequences."
And before anyone goes off half cocked, this was merely MY dream, not something the man actually said. I find it ironic that the United States guarantees Freedom of Religious choice in its constitution, but not Freedom of Choice when it comes to their bodies. I am of the mind that people should be allowed to choose for themselves things like organ donation, assisted suicide, and abortion. Your body, your choice.
