I watched "For Love of the Game" for what feels like the eleventy hundredth time. I watched some of it after I woke up last night, then the rest of it this morning when I woke up. I like that movie so much. I know "Bull Durham" is Costner's big baseball movie, and I own it too, but for some reason, this movie speaks to me.

I saw it in the theatre when it was first released, back in late 1999. I was involved with a guy from California at that time, and he watched it too. He said the female lead reminded him of me, and it moved him greatly. I think that is why I like this movie so much. Plus, I really love baseball.
