Control?

I am sitting in my car, parked on the side of the street. I just watched no less than three vehicles pull up, followed by both driver and passenger exit the vehicles, with the passenger becoming the driver and the driver becoming a pedestrian. 

These were men driving themselves to work, only relinquishing control of their vehicles to their women when they had arrived at work. 

Is it really impossible to allow your woman to drive you to work? I shall console myself with the idea that their women don't like driving, and ignore the speed with which they left their men behind.
