When I say I need money badly, it is usually for food, gas, or a bill that is about to have bad consequences.
Apparently my daughter defines this differently.
I paid her $25 yesterday to help me with the cleaning I cannot do very well thanks to my hips and shoulder. She then proceeded to try to borrow another $25 from me, saying she needed the money badly. I asked what she needed $50 for, and she said, "I wanted to go out tonight."
Of course I said no, and laughed in her face. She is really disturbed.
