Mister Moon

My roommate is four. Let me make that clear from the get-go.

As we approached the full moon this week, I took the opportunity to point out that the moon appears to have a face, complete with a facial expression.

Most kids would think the moon is smiling down on them. Not my roomie. She determined that Mister Moon looks surprised, or shocked.

When pressed, she will even demonstrate how he looks.

Yeah. That's her impersonation of his face. When she asked me why he is always so surprised, I had to tell her, "He is always looking down and sees what people are doing in their homes. You'd be shocked too if you saw what they do!"

And that was a perfectly reasonable explanation for her. She rocks!
