When Good Ideas Go Astray

Mark convinced me to give this FOX TV show, Fringe, a try. It is in its third season, and we have watched the first few episodes online. It is interesting, if creepy in moments. That was not too bad though, because we watched it together, and I was able to deflect the really bad stuff onto Mark, or look away when it was too much, trusting him to tell me what I missed.

Then, curiosity took over. I needed - yes, needed - to know the back story. It is the danger of an inquisitive mind. So, I bought Season One, to find out where this all began. The first few episodes were interesting. The pilot episode scared the CRAP out of me, but I was able to struggle through it, and the next episodes were more interesting than unsettling.

Then, I hit the mid-season mark.

Oh goodness. Oh god. I have been having to fast forward through serious chunks of episodes, to keep my sanity, and keep the nightmares at bay. We will see how successful that was when I fall asleep tonight.

Or, if I fall asleep tonight.
