I am uncertain if it makes me a snob or not, but I have trouble taking anyone seriously online who cannot spell correctly. A perfect example is the website I go to in search of gently used items. In the two years I have been going there, I have purchased a sum total of one set of items, from one seller. However, going to this site never fails to depress a small part of me as I read the ads people have placed.
Some spelling treats tonight : enterance, rot (instead of wrought) firmely, entertain center, the list goes on. I cannot even click on such links, for I cannot help but think that any idiot who cannot spell is probably wrong about the condition of their stuff. I know that is not necessarily true, but I think it anyway.
