A week or so ago, I stumbled across a HBO series on my On-Demand channels. It is called Tell Me You Love Me, and is about four couples of various ages in various stages of their relationships. While the gratuitous sex scenes are entertaining, what I really find fascinating - and surprisingly believable - is the way these couples communicate. Well, to be more accurate, the way some of them don't communicate. The main thing the series shows is that sex is certainly not intimacy, and in fact can get in the way of intimacy at times.
Damn. Can't get laid, can't be close with someone ... what the fuck is the point, then?
