My Six Weird Things/Habits

This came about as a weird result of MisterMike tagging me in a bizarre blogging game. Sheesh. Since he is too far away to punch in the throat, I am giving in and blogging it. Bastage.

1. I have to put my socks and shoes on in opposite order. If I put the right sock on first then the left shoe must go on first. I am trying to be fair. I also ignore the fact that my feet do not know the difference.

2. My bra and panties must match in colour. They simply must. On the extremely rare occasions when they do not, I am aware of it all day long, and ache for the moment I can get home and remove the offending, mismatched articles.

3. I count stairs. Always. Never out loud, unless I am alone. But I count them anyway. The 300+ stairs at St. Joe's Oratory in Montreal? Counted them. The three stairs outside my school? Count em every time.

4. I memorize song lyrics. All sorts. I can still remember lyrics to songs I heard when I was a little kid. Knowing the lyrics to a song becomes too important to me, and I get irritated when people do not know lyrics.

5. When I am at the gym, I do not see or hear other people. It is like I am deaf and blind, focussed only on what I am doing. I have encountered people I know, and they basically complain that they have to practically yell at me and jump up and down in front of me to get my attention.

6. I talk in movie quotes. Not all the time, but sometimes ... okay often. I love words, and apparently, according to my partner - who loves movies, but not like I do - I remember bizarre quotations that do not register with other people. The plus side of this is that I often sound very creative and witty.

And now, here is food for thought. These are six things about me I was willing to share. You should see the things I only share with those near and dear to me. Heh.
