Tis The Season

I know, I know, it is not officially Christmas season until midnight tomorrow, thanks in part to my American friends south of my border. However, up here in Canada, Christmas season begins right after Remembrance Day, which is November 11th (this is also called Veterans' Day in the USA).

Anyhoo ...

The weather has been amazing here, so I braved the patio and put up the Christmas lights, a couple of strands of icicle lights. It matters to my four year old roommate, so I had to try.

I was AWESOME! Of course, by awesome, I mean we got them hung without me falling off the ladder! Wooohooooo!

However, now all we seem to see is that we are the ONLY condo that has lights up. I am waiting to see if this changes after American Thanksgiving. Maybe there are a bunch of Americans living in the complex.
