Update

Have been absent here for far too long. Let me sum up what I can recall from the past while.

Mid August - Mark finally made it up for a visit. It was as wonderful as it could be, and he is planning to return for Thanksgiving.

Late August - Started back to work half time. I like my class, but I was with them far too short a time.

Early September - Had surgery on my shoulder finally. It only took twenty months. I have nerve damage in my ring and pinkie finger, and whether or not it is permanent remains to be seen. I am now two weeks post op. Bandage came off today, surgeon is pleased with the healing. Had physio as well today. I cannot believe how sore it made me, considering how little I feel I did. I sure miss the 90m workouts I used to do.

September 9th - Two days post op was Zeeba's fourth Bday. She is an amazing little girl, I must say. I am proud to be a part of her world, and have a hand in shaping the adult she will become. She has toddler moments, but mostly is smart, funny, caring, considerate, and helpful. She is an amazing problem solver, and her memory blows me away.

Late September - Well, LB is supposed to be here tomorrow. I am not really feeling up to entertaining, and my home is kind of a disaster, but there is nothing to be done about it. Ah well. Besides, he is a kind man, I am certain he will understand.

I am not happy about my scar, but I am counting on the damn thing disappearing. Let's cross our fingers and hope, shall we?
