Movies

When I watch a movie, I watch it to escape from reality, to go to places I have never been, or meet people I have never met. I do NOT go movies to see a miserable reality. I live a miserable reality. Movies that are real are called documentaries, and are not movies at all.

My one requirement in a movie is that it have a happy or satisfactory ending. Good guys win, girl gets the boy, happily ever after and all that crap. It is not asking too much, since these are for entertainment. I am not entertained when the bad guys win, the girl ends up alone, and everyone lives sadly ever after. That is what the real world is for.
