Holding Out

A friend and I were talking this morning, and I made a comment that seemed to offend him. I guess, in a way, it could be offensive, but for me, it was merely a truism. I said that the only place a truly evolved man is to be found is in fiction, because all men are broken, in some capacity or another. I meant no offense by this, as it is my perspective only.

The Ideal Man would be ..... this man.



Totally fiction, would never exist in reality, but oh, what a dream. To hold out for this man, however, is folly, since he doesn't exist.

But oh he makes my dreams interesting.
