Best Class Today
I lost it during Language Arts class. I was drawing an illustration to go with the time line example I was putting on the board for the class. It was a picture of a guy with a broken leg. As I was adding the written portion of the event, I overheard one of my top students say quietly, "It looks like he's wearing a big old boot." For some reason that tickled my funny bone and from that point on, I was gone.

Best End To A Day
The daughter and I drove through Dairy Queen on the way home. We wanted a couple of cheeseburgers. We pulled up to the drive through window as I was telling her about my silly absurd day, and this is what happened ....

"Welcome to DQ what can I get you?"
"Can I get two cheeseburgers please?"
"Sure. Just yell when you are ready."

Bug looked at me, then at the intercom, then back at me. I was in tears, and I said, "Hey, this is the story of my day."
