As a teacher, I feel it is my professional resposibility to work with student teachers whenever I am able to. In my eleven years of teaching I have worked with everyone from first year students to interns about to finish their studies. In the past year or two I have not taken students, being busy with my own world. A couple of weeks ago, my princ asked me to take two intern students. I, like a fool agreed.

I damn near dieed laughing when one of my students pulled up for her first half day ........ in a school bus!!! She drives bus for the Catholic School Board, but all I was thinking was, "UNAUTHORIZED FIELD TRIP!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
